Nick and Dawn visited Rhostyllen Playgroup last week. Fry Fresh is proud to support the playgroup with a donation and we’re really pleased to be able to help!
Rhostyllen Playgroup & Toddlers
This week we have been having lots of fun building towers using the big foam bricks, practised our threading with the wooden fruit, playing with the Bluey house, making up jigsaws and having lots of fun playing with our friends….
We have been using our matching skills really well this week…looking what colour pieces we had and then matching them to the correct matching coloured bowl.
On Friday we went straight out for a walk. We took our binoculars and we stopped every so often to look through them at what we could see.
We saw lots of people out walking their dogs, lots of trees, some birds but we didn’t spot any squirrels!
We listened to instructions given on how we needed to walk sensible as we weren’t always holding hands so they could use their binoculars!
Snacks this week have been….
Monday we had cheese spread on crackers,
Wednesday was a yogurt and a biscuit and on
Friday we had jam sandwich’s with a drink of milk or water..
Monday after snacks we took some ride ons into the hall and had lots of fun riding these all around the big room. We used good sharing and taking turns!
Wednesday was fun going to play in our outside play area. We enjoyed climbing up the steps to the slide, playing in the house and selling doughnuts and ice creams in our shop.
The children had a lot of giggles getting water in the buckets or jugs and pouring it onto the water wheel and seeing how the water trickles/splashes down. They got a bit wet but had lots of fun!
Friday after snacks we sang songs and danced around for a bit before our visitors arrived.
Nick and Dawn from FryFresh came into see us, talked about what we do in the playgroup then had their photo taken with us to go on the Leader paper as they had given us a donation to help with the playgroup.
